TP Link - Smart Home Cameras
Arduino Nano 33 IoT

Keep an eye on your property when you're not there.

TP-Link's Kasa smart home camera range offers a cheap and easy way to monitor your property.

There are a number of models available for different purposes.

Indoor and outdoor options are available, as well as a pan and tilt version.

The cameras can be viewed remotely on an Android application. They can also record on motion detection to the cloud. There is a limit to the length of recordings and the time they are available unless you pay more for a subscription, however, for most people the limits that you get fore free should be enough.

There is no way to view the camera feeds on a PC which is a bit of a shame but the Android app is good.

Integration with Alexa and Amazon Fire Stick is available to view the camera feed on your TV by just asking Alexa.

Alexa can also be used to turn the cameras on and off using IFTTT, but not to do anything else, such as enable/disable motion detection.

The cameras can be renamed which is useful if you want to set up a few and remember where they are.

I bought a second camera after the first and intend to buy maybe one more, they're great when you're away from home for a while and just want peace of mind. They would also be handy for keeping an eye on pets.
