The new addition to Arduino family arrives at the end of July 2019.

The Arduino Nano 33 IoT is the same size as the old Nano but has WiFi and Bluetooth courtesy of an ESP32 module.

It also has a 6 axis Inertial Measurement Unit in case you want to launch it into space or bring any airports to a standstill with your own homemade drone.

The processor is upgraded to an Arm Cortex M0+ SAMD21 processor and it has a crypto chip to store certificates and keys.

The board is being promoted for use with the Arduino IoT cloud which is free to register for.

Hopefully some clones will arrive soon after to bring it to a wider audience. The current price at the Arduino store is from €16 to €18 (or about £50 and your grandmother at today's exchange rate).
